Our Work
The operating philosophy determines our areas of intervention, and accordingly we have five broad work areas corresponding to different thematic groups as under:

Community Forestry

Sustainable Livelihood and Economic Democratisation

Land Tenure, Access and Rights

Conservation & Livelihood

  • Environment Conservation
  •
  • Biodiversity Conservation & Livelihood
  •
    Community Empowerment Initiatives

Vasundhara believes in collective approach, which manifests in the form of team work. The five thematic groups function on this basis. Within Vasundhara, the idea of building such groups was to bring about focused interventions on issues in an integrated approach to get effective outcomes. These groups are not watertight; in fact, they are interlinked. These processes of thematic team building not only help in producing effective results but also, contribute strongly to the reinforcement of the organisation's goals and priorities.
