Dr. Sricharan Behera |
Sricharan is a social anthropologist and has done research in Orissa’s tribal areas on indigenous knowledge and traditional forest management systems of the forest dwelling tribes. He joined Vasundhara in 2005 is primarily looking into forestland and tribal rights and policies. In addition to research, Sricharan was involved in relief activities after Orissa’s devastating super cyclone. His educational credentials include Master’s and M.Phil degrees in Sociology and a doctoral degree in Social Anthroplogy from JNU, Delhi.Email:-sricharan.vasu@gmail.com

| Mr. Balakrishna Sahu |
Mr.Balakrishna joined Vasundhara in April 2011 as a Programme Associate. He has more than seven years of experience in development sector with different grassroots level organizations and their interventions like NEC, AUS, AVIYAN and in some govt. programmes in NYKs (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India) and WORLP. Balakrishna is primary responsible for networking and advocacy, facilitation for development of community land governance model, research support, community mobilization, facilitation for land settlement process and training and capacity building on land rights issues in Koraput besides his overall programme coordination in the district. | Ms. Rajashree Mishra |
Rajashree joined Vasundhara in April 2011 as Senior Programme Associate with more than three years experience on Women Empowerment, Community mobilization, HIV/AIDS & Community Health Issues. Her academic qualification includes Master Degree in Social Work from Utkal University. She is currently associated with Land Rights, Access & Tenure Thematic Team. Her responsibility includes research and documentation, programme facilitation, support in networking and advocacy on land rights issues. Besides, Rajashree will also focus on aspects of gender and land rights and coordination of thematic activities in Deogarh district. To her voluntary capacity she has been associated with Nisa Mukti Yuba Sangathan, a campaign against tobacco with a group of dedicated youths. Email: rajashremishra84@gmail.com |
